The scheme was to provide 21st Century teaching facilities for the post 16 pupils with an identifiable singular building offering spaces that are flexibility and adaptability which was completed in 2015 in Warminster, Wiltshire. The simple form of the design created affectively two buildings with an overall floor area of 500msq joined but staggered in plan with the south elevation punctuated by four glazed roof sections and doors which have external louvers to prevent solar glare and overheating.

The design demonstrated the school’s ethos of providing sustainable and environmental designed facilities with considerations for an environmental performance criteria, including acoustics, ventilation and daylight. The design was based upon creating an energy efficient design for low energy demand through orientation, siting, construction and ventilation.
